Ocean Park is part of Old Orchard Beach Town of York County, Maine and is part of the Maine “Riviera ”. The activity of ocean in the Gulf of Maine gives this area a more moderate summer temperatures and warmer winter temperatures than expected in this northern latitude. The average summer temperature is in the 70's and winter days on the coast average 32 degrees.

Next door to The Pines is a part of the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge, , which is easily accessed via the Ted Wells Memorial Trail

The ShuttleBus Tri-Town Service provides convenient and affordable bus service between the communities of Biddeford, Saco and Old Orchard Beach.

The Amtrak Downeaster runs from North Station, Boston, MA to Portland, ME and stops in Saco, ME all year round and Old Orchard Beach from May to November.
